(Memorial Service)

Time: 1 p.m. sharp
Location: Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery
We will mark the 81st anniversary of the expulsion of Donauschwaben from their ancestral homes through prayer, ritual and song. "Die Vertreibung" as we call it in German caused not just the loss of untold lives but also an entire way of life in the former Yugoslavia and elsewhere. Make plans now to join us at the cemetery for what is always a moving and emotional event. Everyone is invited and make sure to dress weather-appropriate as this will be outdoors ! We look forward to seeing you there.
Following the service, it is tradition that we will return to our Clubhouse for refreshments. Cake and coffee will be served at no charge. For further information, simply respond to this email.

Price: $30 per person. Children 5 and under free of charge; children 6 - 12 half price.

Strudel Sale
Back by Popular Demand!
As one of our fundraisers, we are selling (by pre-order) three varieties of Strudel in time for Thanksgiving and Christmas. The varieties are Cherry Strudel, Cheese Strudel, or Cherry/Cheese Strudel. Nothing better than home-made Strudel! You can order yours simply by replying to this email. Cost is $20 whole; $12 half. A pick-up time will be scheduled on Sunday, November 23. This is "pre-order" only.
These strudels also freeze well so you'll be prepared for your Christmas festivities!

St. Nicholas/Christmas Celebration
When: Sunday, December 7, 2025
Time: 1 p.m.
Location: Clubhouse
Our most festive event of the year during the Christmas Season, featuring a short program including traditional Carols both in English and German, a visit from "you know who" followed by St. Nikolaus with his goodies, who is anxious to see all the good girls and boys...young and old!
And try your luck at a raffle basket, proceeds of which benefit our Scholarship fund!
